1. SCOPE
This standard defines the rules for fitting rubber and plastic lines equipping air circuits onto rigid end-
fittings (machined or moulded).
For revisions, application of the standard is evaluated by the relevant Engineering Centres after
consulting the “Systems Managers”.
In other cases and where necessary, the symbols are entered on the part drawing.
NOTE: All the quotations required in this document are made according to the envelope
requirement (see ISO Standard 8015).

The use of this type of fitting shall be approved beforehand by the RENAULT Engineering Centre
Systems Manager.
NOTE: Used for heavy vibrations and only on type 2 and type 4 end-fittings.

The type 11 end-fitting corresponds to the standard moulded or machined end-fitting. This may be
thermoplastic or metal.
The generic drawing 8200 888 293 and the specification 34-01-029 detail this end-fittting.

running defects, etc. shall not appear over the effective length (B) and the minimum fitting length (C) of
the end-fitting, and their dimensions shall not be greater than 0,1 mm.

For reference: the inside diameters of tubes have been calculated to have a minimum tube tightness
on the end-fitting of 0.05 D for diameters ≤ 10 mm and 0.5 mm for diameters > 10 mm.
