7.4.4 Field Engineer
• Field Engineer carry out research to identify problems and develop appropriate
solutions for them.
• Oversee the maintenance of different types of equipment’s and infrastructure
related to their industry.
• Installing new and more advanced technologies per the requirements of the
research team and the needs of employees.
• Field engineers maintains reports of their work that are handed to the senior
engineer on the project as well as anyone else related to the project These
reports keep track of progress and any issues that halt progression.

• Attend meeting of safety committees.
• Investigating the causes of accidents.
• Investigate potential and actual hazards and dangerous occurrences.
• Being consulted by the employer about issues relating to health and safety in the
