message that says you hope someone is well, happy; a welcome to someone, or good
wishes for a special occasion:

Types

There are two types : Formal and Informal Greetings

Formal Greetings
They are used for: people you've never seen in your life and therefore you don't know them; in
your work when you have to talk to the boss for example; to be educated etc.

❖ Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening/Good night/Good bye

Types

Informal Greetings
They are used for: people you know; for the people in your family; closest friends;
uncompromising conversations, etc.

What’s up? / How’s it going? / What’s good? / What’s new? / What’s cracking?
Not much /Nothing much / Not bad / Oh, just the usual. Just the same old
