The conjunctions as and like have the same meaning when used in comparisons. Like
is a little more informal.
Adam is the best teacher ever! I hope to speak english fluently as he does.
I speak english fluently like you
I speak english fluently just like you.
I speak english fluently as you do.
I think both are correct, but the sort of thing a butler would say.
