Chemical reactions

There are many ways to tell if a chemical reaction has happened list them below:

If the colour has changed

If a smell has occurred

If the temperature has changed

If it starts to bubble/fizz

If a gas appears

In all chemical reactions they follow the law of conservation of mass, look at
the image below and use it to explain what is happening then state the law below:

The solution in the test tube mixed with the solution in the beaker. This caused the
solution in the test tube to go from sodium hydroxide to sodium sulfate and the
mixture in the beaker to go from copper sulfate to copper hydroxide, after mixing
both solutions thoroughly. The mass remained constant at 67.25g, allowing the
experiment to follow the law of conservation of mass.

Comment on the accuracy of the equipment used in this experiment:

I would say that it was a fairly accurate test as the procedure for the experiment was
pretty fair, however, as the string detached and the small test tube fell into the
mixture, not all of the mixture may have mixed together enough as a test tube
would’ve been in the middle of it.
