Instructions to check.

1 Engine oil level: (important: check cold) remove the engine dipstick and check that it is
at the proper levels.

2 Brake oil level: locate the brake fluid tank and that the level is adequate on the side of
the tank
3 Power steering oil level: locate the hydraulic steering fluid reservoir and that the level is
adequate by looking at the side of the reservoir.

4 Antifreeze level: (important: check cold) locate the antifreeze tank and check that the
level is correct by looking at the side of the tank.
5 Air level in tires: with the help of a pressure gauge, check the tires are with adequate
pressure (from 32 to 34)

6 check external lights: turn on all the car lights with the light stick and check that all the
lights come on
7 Check engine area fluid leaks: visualize the motor area and identify areas of the motor
and its instruments.

8 Check the fuel level: start the car and check the fuel level on the dashboard

9 Check for strange sounds in the engine: with the engine running, listen for a noise that
the engine should not naturally make
10 Check the thermostat temperature: with the engine running for a minute 15 minutes,
check the thermostat level (it should not rise more than 60% of the range)
