“Ako Muna: One Brave Step”

Musiklaban
Musiklaban is a serenade competition (solo or max. of 5 members) It can be a solo, band or an
acoustic performance. Each representative must perform 2 songs (English and an OPM song of
their choice) performance must be presented through a video presentation.

Participants
All the students of Batangas State University Alangilan Campus.

Guidelines
1. The contest is open to all students of Batangas State University Alangilan Campus.
2. Participants may join as solo or band (consisting of min. of 1 to max. of 5 members).

3. Each participant must have an instrumental accompaniment (minus one is not allowed).

4. Each participant must perform 2 songs:

a. English Song- Easy on Me by Adele

b. OPM song of their choice

5. Video Resolution should be at least 720p. The video should also be in a .mp4 format and
in landscape orientation.
6. The entry must not contain actions that are vulgar, offensive, or wholly inappropriate
contents.
7. There will be a google form for those students who want to join that will also serve as a
registration for the contest.

8. The output must be finalized and submitted on February 12, 2022 11:59 PM.

9. Going outside or traveling for practice sessions are not allowed for safety purposes.

10. The entries shall be evaluated by the panel of judges of the following criteria:
CREATIVITY (Originality, Uniqueness, 25%
Entertainment Value)

PERFORMANCE (Talent, Timing, and 25%

Familiarity)

TECHNICAL ABILITY 25%

OVERALL APPEAL 25%

TOTAL 100%

11. Judge’s decisions are final and irrevocable.

12. There will be 3 winners, the winning entries will be announced on the Day of the event,
February 14, 2022.
