Research Interests and Motivations

To Whom It May Concern:

Throughout my life, I have learned that the ultimate happiness is achieved not only by hard work and
intelligence but also by unlimited bravery in following one's own dreams which in my case is pursuing a
MS degree. Fulfilling my dream from a reputed center of knowledge in Mechanical Engineering is an
added benefit, therefore I am writing this letter to express my strong motivation for the MS position in
“Mechanical Engineering”.
During my Bachelor studies at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Pakistan
(http://www.uet.edu.pk/), despite studying several pure and elective engineering courses, I opted to shift my
focus to physical problems. As a result, I worked on the final year project "Design and Fabrication of
Corn Seed Sowing Machine" in which the basic idea of designing and fabricating was described and
proved. This experience was my first introduction to research and I really loved it.

I am a competent user of the English language because during my bachelor, the medium of instruction
was English. I am fully confident that your research group meets my research interests and skills.
