Thank you for your purchase and for your interest in our papercraft templates!
We tried to describe the best the process of assembling the paper model. We hope it will be clear for you!
Before to begin your Treehouse- With Textures, you should know that, like all our models, you will need time and
patience. Also a begginer can assemble the model with a little bit of attention and precision.
Take a picture of the nished work and share it on your social networks.
Please mark me on the photo @PaperArtAddiction and use a hashtag #paperartaddiction. Thanks.
Have a fun!
We give a lot of love, time and energy to creating papercraft models for you.
Please respect copyright, so we could continue to create!
Our patterns are sold on ETSY and UnitedByPaper websites or these are sent by email
from: paperartaddiction@gmail.com
If you get this pattern from another website or another email, your copy might by illegal.
If so, please inform us. Any report of an illegal website or an illegal sharing will be rewarded.
This paper model contain templates in A3 and A4 format. You can choose, which is the best for you.
It is the same pattern for two paper formats. The nal size of the paper model won't change, if you use A4 or A3.
If you want a bigger sculpture, print the A4 pattern on A3 paper. While printing,
click on „custom scale>and indicate 140%.“
If you want a smaller sculpture, print the A3 pattern on A4 paper. While printing,
click on „custom scale>and indicate 70%.“
BE CAREFUL: with smaller parts, the sculpture will be harder to assemble.
A4 is identical with letter format and A3 is the same as Tabloid. There is a small
different between size of the US format and the international format. Before printing,
I recommend to check if the pdf document will ll whole your page. If not, you can
decrease the size of pdf document until it will be t perfectly. For example, something
about 97%. The nal paper model will be a bit smaller.
Printed pattern. You can print it at home or in copy shop. I prefer white cardstock paper with density/grammage of
160-200gsm (65-80lb).
Too thin paper will be easier to assemble but whole sculpture can collapse into itself. Too thick paper will be hard to
assembly, but sculpture will be stronger.
Snap-off knife, pair of scissors, paper scalpel or any small knife with a sharp, xed and thin blade.
Score/crease tool. Ballpoint pen (without ink) or something like that. It works very precise and doesn't damage
the paper.
Cutting mat for work with cutting knife/scalpel. You can use self-healing cutting mat(plastic mat) or any wood or plastic
board.
Metal ruler is the best option. Plastic or wood ruler can be damaged easily when you use cutting knife/scalpel.
Liquid white glue or white school/hobby glue, both fast-drying and does not damage the paper.

This papercraft model is created to have the numbers of the pattern on the OUTSIDE Dashed line (mountain fold)
of the sculpture. But after the completion of the sculpture the numbers will not be seen.
You don't need to invert the folds because of the visibility a numbers.
We recommend writing numbers backwards of aps and patterns. Dashed line with dot
Then you don't have to remember all of the numbers and you will know which parts (valley fold)
goes together. Write them with a pencil. You can easily erase them later, if you
do a mistake.
Dotted line (bounding
of the glueing area)
Cut only along the solid lines! (They are a bit thicker then other lines)
Scoring basically means embossing the fold lines to make sharper, crisper folds. Scoring
may seem like an extra, time-consuming step you can skip, but I highly recommend that
you score your models as the pieces will t together more seamlessly and beautifully. A ruler
is also useful here for scoring straight lines. Score along the dashed lines, for a mountain fold,
and along the dashed lines with dots, for a valley fold. Do not try to cut through
them, you just want to crease the paper, to make it easier to fold.
Mountine fold line - this is
Fold along the lines that you have scored. Generally the folds are 'mountain folds' meaning generally a ‘mountain’ fold
the fold ends up at the top, and the sides slope down, like a mountain. Sometimes the folds where the fold is upwards,
are 'valley folds' which are the opposite, meaning the fold ends down at the bottom, and like a mountain.
the sides slope up, like a valley.

And naly the sticking. You must match the numbers (example:
T.11
number T.1 with the other number T.1, number T.2 with the other
number T.2, etc...).One number will have a ap (tab) and the other

will not. You must use the aps (tabs) to glue this two parts together.
T.15
Apply glue to the entire grey shaded area (ap/tab)(also to the

corners where a toothpick might come in handy) and press the tab
to the underside of the other piece with the matching number. When
you glue two parts together, remember to pinch that area tight for
10 seconds or so, until the glue dryes.

This numbers help you with orientation- which piece belongs to which piece.
These numbers are placed at the aps and glue edges.
After building the main sections and their smaller segments, continue with assembling this main
sections together to nal look.
Follow the numbers of nal steps: 1a - 95a in „Assembly scheme“(next pages) where the
numbers are placed in rectangles. In templates they are situated right at glueing areas.
There are red arrows and red lines next to some of the numbers. It will
help you to put two pieces together in right direction and position.
Arrow direction and position of the red line must be the same on both
glueing areas of the pieces!
HOW TO DO IT
This is the way to properly
apply the glue. (to the entire

Tree branches can be out of their direction.
It can happen because of paper exibility or
inaccuracy during construction. Gently correct
the direction of the branches and glue
