Steve Wozniak didn’t want to be corrupted in his life.

So, he used to be as honest as possible and

avoided doing things for the sake of money. He left Facebook over data security concerns, as he
found that Facebook is selling private information of users to advertisers, and that’s why he sees
Facebook unethical.
He was suspicious about how some companies’ work, especially in the communications area. He
didn’t like the fact that we’re being watched from governments, advertisers, or spies to see what
we’re doing as human beings in our personal life. He says that he never imagined that this
technology would truly make it better for the authorities that govern us to spy on us and know
what we are doing.
Steve woz highly valued ethics in his life and work. He was against companies manufacturing
products that the customer doesn’t know how it’s built inside. And therefore, he tried to present
his work on the apple computers I and II, excluding all unethical misleading tricks used by other
companies.

“I don’t want to be in that group, chasing power and wealth, I just want to have a nice life, a good life, maybe
better than a typical engineer. But I gave away a lot of my money. I’m very comfortable with who I am, I’m not one
of those private jet people”
“I was brought up during the cold war, and we were told in the United States we stood for freedom. What was the
opposite of freedom? It was communism, where everybody’s being spied on and searched on and reported by their
neighbors.”
