Guidelines and Instructions for Submission of Assignment
❖ As a part of Mid Semester Evaluation, each student is required to submit the HAND

WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT for each subject on ANY ONE TOPIC / CASE from
the attached list of topics/cases.
❖ The weightage of assignment will be 15 marks in each subject.
❖ The length of hand written assignment shall be appropriate to the marks i.e., in 500 to 1000
words.
❖ The front page of the assignment in each subject must contain following details.
o Name of Diploma Programme:
o Subject:
o Name of Topic:
o Name of Student:
o Exam Seat Number:
o PRN:
❖ The assignment to be submitted shall be in a legible handwriting, and in a presentable way.
❖ The date of submitting handwritten assignment in a hardcopy will be 31st January,

2022. The date of submission will not be extended, so kindly adhere to the deadline.

5) He purchased raw material from Mr. D worth Rs.2,40,000 & payment of Rs.1,00,000 by cheque on
28th January,2021.
6) He returned the goods to Mr. C worth Rs.40,000 on 30th January,2021.
7) He paid balance to Mr. C on 25th February,2021.
9. From the following details you are required to prepare necessary vouchers, pass journal entries,

1) He sold goods to Mr. M for Rs.5,00,000 against which he received advance Rs.100000
On 2nd February,2021.
2) He sold goods to Mr. N of Rs. 15000 on cash basis ,5th February,2021.
3) Mr. M returned goods worth Rs. 55,000 on 10th February,2021
4) He sold goods to Mr. B for Rs.90,000. & Allowed trade discount 2 % on 15th February,2021
5) He received cheque from Mr. M for Rs.3,00,000 on 18/02/2021 as settlement of his claim.
6) He sold goods to Mr. E worth Rs.175000 on 22/02/2021
