Technical Specification for Swing Ladder:

• Base frame will be made of L-Angle/ C-channel / Square Steel Cross bar reinforcement.
• Tension/Compression spring Shall be enclosed in an assembly as a balancing unit and
Adjustable spring box on one side / either side of the staircase.
• The moving steps (Aluminium/ Carbon Steel) shall be self-levelling type with a suitable
locking device to keep the steps in horizontal position under loaded conditions.
• Hand railing arrangement with a mid-rail made of flat, handrail & top handrail made of pipe
for comfortable grip while walking on stairs & for ease lowering and raising operation to
reach the top of Tank Truck / Tank Wagon / ISO Tanker.
• Nylon rope of 25 mm Día with rubber shrouds/ grip to pull the staircase comfortably into the
parking position with a single hand effort.
• Automatic foot lock shall be provided to keep the staircase in parking position when not in
operation.

Operation Procedure Required:

• Press Foot Lock and push the ladder handrail.
• Put steps on first ladder to push down and the step down further.
• When the ladder open in down position fully, lock the same with Chain Lock, wherever the
ladder requires to stop.
• Walk on the ladder in down and up direction to check the operation.
• Stand on the fixed step of ladder (base Step) and operate Nylon rope to pull the ladder.
• Ladder will be parked in vertical original position and automatically lock in the Foot Lock.

Optional Accessories:
• Safety Cage as per tank truck configuration.
• LED indication lamp has provided on the Swing ladder for better indication of swing ladder
in parking position or in operation position
• RED Lamp will be indicating that swing ladder is in operating condition and GREEN light will
be indicate that ladder is in parking condition.
• Indicating lamps will be operate on Proximity Sensor for better operation.
• It will help to identified easily and eliminate the accident at site (Accident will be happen at
site between tank truck and swing ladder)
