Introduction ‫المقدمة‬
The General Secretariat of Abdullatif ‫تسعى األمانة العامة لجائزة عبداللطيف‬
Al Fozan Award for Mosque
Architecture seeks to develop the ‫الفوزان لعمارة المساجد إلى تطوير‬
architectural solutions of the ‫الحلول والتصاميم المعمارية للمساجد‬
mosques based on contemporary
standards and methodologies that ‫وفق معايير و منهجيات معاصرة تواكب‬
will facilitate prayer and worship

Accordingly, the General Secretariat

tangible essentials.
The Competition
Creative and effective designs for
the accessories used in mosques
are required to facilitate prayer,
worship and charity functions.
The candidate may choose to work
on one group or more from the
following:
A) Group 1:
Innovative seats and equipped
plots for the elderly and people
with special needs.

General Terms
‫الشروط العامة‬
1 Designs that contains ‫ أن يحتوي على مواد صديقة‬-1
environmentally friendly materials will
be preferred. .‫للبيئة‬
2- Designs should be easy for ‫ أن يتكون من عناصر قابلة للفك‬-2
dismantling and assembling
3- Possibility of manufacturing these .‫والتركيب‬
designs in large quantities
‫ إمكانية تنفيذ التصاميم بكميات‬-3
4- "Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Award for
Mosque Architecture" owns .‫كبيرة‬
intellectual property of the winning
‫ تمتلك "جائزة عبد اللطيف الفوزان‬-4
designs and has the right of
publishing them. However, designer ‫لعمارة المساجد" حقوق ملكية‬
keeps only his moral rights.
5- Designer should provide a ‫ ويحق لها نشر‬،‫التصاميم الفائزة‬
demonstration for his designs ‫ ويحتفظ المصمم بالحق‬،‫ذلك‬
within mosques.
6- The designer of the "awarded .‫المعنوي‬
design" ‫ تقديم نماذج تصورية لطريقة‬-5
may be asked for additional
information, details and drawings .‫تنفيذ التصاميم داخل المساجد‬
after announcing results.

7- "Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Award
Mosque Architecture" has the right of ‫صاحب "التصميم الفائز" معلومات‬
manufacturing those designs

8- Jurors has the right to exclude any
of the designs that include mistakes ‫ تمتلك "جائزة عبد اللطيف الفوزان‬-7
or proved to be copied.

within their design, but it should not
exceed 40%.

‫‪10- It’s possible to participate for the‬‬
‫‪design of one group or more.‬‬
‫‪11- Jurors can withhold any prize of‬‬
‫‪any group only if the submitted work‬‬
‫‪is not up to the required level.‬‬
‫‪Methodology of Evaluation‬‬
‫‪The Evaluation Jury includes 5‬‬
‫‪members, and those members will be‬‬
‫‪nominated by Executive Office of‬‬
‫‪AAFAMA.‬‬
‫‪The‬‬ ‫‪Evaluation‬‬ ‫‪Jury‬‬ ‫‪includes‬‬
‫‪architects, interior designers, and‬‬
‫‪industrial experts.‬‬
‫‪Process of Evaluation comprises of‬‬
‫‪three phases, preliminary, prefinal‬‬
‫‪and final.‬‬
‫‪ -‬المرحلة األولى‪ :‬تُ صنف القائمة األولية‪.‬‬
‫‪Presentation‬‬
‫‪All applicants have to present their‬‬
‫‪work at the digital template and‬‬
‫‪upload all related materials on the‬‬
‫‪4‬‬
‫‪ -8‬يحق للجنة التحكيم استبعاد أي‬
‫عمل غير أصلي‪ ،‬أو يحتوي على خطأ‪،‬‬
‫أو يثبت اقتباسه أو نسخه‪.‬‬
‫‪ -9‬للمتقدمين الحق باالستعانة‬
‫بجهات مصنعة ألجزاء إلكترونية أو‬
‫رقمية تكون جزءا من التصميم بحيث‬
‫‪.٪‬‬
‫ال تتجاوز ‪ 40‬؜‬
‫‪ُ -10‬يسمح للمتقدمين االشتراك‬
‫بالمجموعات الثمانية أو بعضها‪.‬‬
‫‪ -11‬يحق للجنة التحكيم حجب الجائزة‬
‫في حال لم يرتق العمل للمستوى‬
‫المطلوب‪.‬‬
‫منهجية التحكيم‬
‫‪ -1‬تتكون لجنة التحكيم من خمسة أعضاء‬
‫يتم تسميتهم من قبل اللجنة التنفيذية‬
‫لجائزة الفوزان لعمارة المساجد‪.‬‬
‫‪ -2‬تتكون لجنة التحكيم من معماريين‬
‫ومصممين داخليين وصناعيين‪.‬‬
‫‪ -3‬يتم تحكيم األعمال على ثالث‬
‫مراحل‪..‬‬
‫‪ -‬المرحلة الثانية‪ :‬تُ علن القائمة شبه‬
‫النهائية‪.‬‬
‫‪ -‬المرحلة الثالثة‪ :‬تُ حدد التصميمات‬
‫الفائزة‪.‬‬
‫أسلوب التقديم‬
‫ُيطلب من المتقدمين ملء نموذج‬
‫الترشيح‪ ،‬ورفعه عبر الموقع االلكتروني‬
