PRESENTER 1
Hello, and welcome to The Keatcast, where we discuss, indulge and occasionally complain about the vast
plain of creativity that is the music industry, bringing you content from the birth of the Blues to the height of
Pop genre. I’m your host, Keaton Wares, and joining me, your co-hosts, Melissa Taylor and Moth Stanton.
Coming up in today’s show, we cover multi-genre, taking a look back on the greatest hits of the last ten
years, alongside the top tunes we were all listening to in Lockdown. Plus, we dive into our top 3 favourite al-
bums of all time, and stick around until the end, because we have a first look at an up-and-coming indie band
for you, right here, only here, on The Keatcast. And as always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on today’s
show, @thekeatcast on Twitter. Let’s get those tweets in. Now, as we’re discussing a very general topic this
week, I think I should start with a very general question: (QUESTION FOR MELISSA AND MOTH) How
do you feel about the current state of the music industry in this near post-pandemic world?

Speaking of decade-defining music, a look back now at a time before covid, as we jump into the top 10

PRESENTER 1
That’s all from us here in the studio tonight. We’d like to thank you for joining us. Tune in next week, where
we’ll be taking a close look at original film scores, and the nuances of the alternative rock genre. But now, to
close this week’s programme, we’d like to share with you an exclusive look at an up-and-coming band.
These three teenagers from Wiltshire, who go by the name of CAM, have recently covered Sam Fender’s
“Seventeen Going Under”. Here is your first look at this ambitious piece. Goodnight.
