➢ Settings: The case of Anne Cook,35, killed by an unknown person, while

walking her pet through the streets of Waterford, in the year 2000.

➢ Victims: Anne Cook.

➢ Evidence: She was stabbed in the heart with a kitchen knife by a complete

stranger, Leon Paul Amos of Watford, a man with a history of harassing and

raping innocent women.

➢ Suspects: Leon Paul Amos and Susan Cutler.

➢ How the crime was made: Miss Cook, an internet designer who was survived

by her twin sister Susan Cutler, was walking her pet when she was attacked

by Amos barechested. Amos, who was 35 at the time, had harassed another

woman earlier that day, had a prior rape conviction, and had also arrested a

woman at knife point with the intention of raping her or her daughter. On May

9, 2000, she was attacked by this stranger. Although she bravely tried to fight

him, he thrust a knife into her heart and then fled the scene.

➢ Criminal: Leon Paul Amos.

➢ How the case was solved: Amos, who denied murder, took Miss Cook's

mobile phone before running through bushes, he was arrested nine days later.

Susan her twin sister was the survivor, she was torn after the news and

remembers her sister as an honest, loving and hardworking woman.

Samuel is from Venezuela from the city of Maracaibo, he told me that last year the death rate was
very high already for theft, Murder, etc. In the current year there have not been many cases of
criminality but he told me that in months later these types of cases were heard again because in his
city is very common murders among other things for which people are murdered. He also mentioned
that in the city of Caracas where his grandparents live is too dangerous that in that city even
kidnappings are daily.
