 WHAT IS
(KK-V Organization)?
The organization is rooted on the efforts of the people within
and of the volunteers who willingly participates and gives
their time and effort to sustain the work necessary.
Therefore, to clearly define the roles of each person, there
shall be a set structure that shall operate based on their
chosen committee.

The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the lives of every person in
the world. There have been hundreds of millions of people all
over the world who have been infected by it, and there have
been a few million people who have unfortunately been taken by
it. To combat this, governments all around the world have put into
place measures to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 virus within
their respective nations. Aside from the individual and communal
policies enacted by the governments all around the world,
countries with substantial resources have made vaccines to
combat the spread of COVID-19 — vaccines that, when given to
the majority of the population, can make the virus spread less
and therefore totally mitigate its effects on the human body. The
phenomenon mentioned here is called herd immunity.
Of course, herd immunity necessitates the need to vaccinate the
majority of the population. Although herd immunity could also be
achieved through natural infection, it is impractical and quite
immoral to do so — our healthcare systems would be continuously
overwhelmed by the inevitable flow of infected people going to
hospitals and clinics, and several countries all around the world
already have the means to ensure our safety and well-being.
Hence why we should opt to vaccinate people instead, but even
that has challenges that lie ahead. For starters,

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The executive committee shall be the highest position of power in this organization. It shall
comprise 3 people as the dedicated executives as well as the head committees of each
respective committee as mentioned. The role of the executive committee is to lead the
organization towards their goals, to provide plans of action that the lower committees shall
follow, and to oversee the operations of each committee. The executive committee answers
directly to the Secretary of the Department of Health to update them of their status and of
their progress.
Funding for this organization’s projects and activities would revolve around government grants coming
from the Department of Health, as well as fundraisers from the public (example: LGUs, civil society
groups, transnational advocacy groups) and private sector (example: MSMEs, large businesses,
corporations) to not only raise awareness of such organization, but also to improve and increase relations
between these areas of society.

The budget would revolve around the projects and activities that the organization shall make which would
mainly be coming from the grants from the DOH. The fundraisers from the public-private sector would be
for external activities, which are activities that require additional funding / funding that was not originally
allocated for this NGO.

EXTRA FUNDING An estimated amount of 75,000,000 Philippine Pesos

would be allocated for this NGO. This budget shall be
renewed annually by the Department of Health, subject
to further deliberations.

The main goal of this organization is to provide as much information / to disseminate information regarding COVID-19 and its variants, and the preventive measures
that we can take to avoid contracting the virus. However, as an organization stemming from the DOH, it will put more emphasis on the measures that the
government is pursuing — namely, its national vaccination programs.

In line with this, the organization would also focus on making the information as easy to understand to the Filipino — making sure that everyone,
regardless of age, educational status, and language spoken, can clearly and definitively understand their role as the people during the pandemic.

To widely disseminate the information at hand, we would look to partner with other branches of the government, as well as people and organizations
who are well known by the average Filipino. That means that we would be partnering with government officials, influencers, celebrities, businessmen
and the like.

The organization shall use several platforms to engage with the people. Platforms such as Social Media, TV, and Radio Broadcasting would be avenues that
will be used to inform the citizenry and to fight the waves of disinformation online.

The organization shall also partner with Local Government Units to empower their citizens to take the vaccine and to thoroughly explain the guidelines set by
the IATF.
