                    What is Life?

What is life? This is a question that everyone thinks about once in a while.
Every individual’s answer to this question is complex and different, my answer is that
life is about love, peace and people.

Why is life about love, you may ask? I reckon that as human beings, we
wouldn’t be able to survive without love and care from other people. Imagine if you
one day, lived in a world without love or care from people around you? Often times i
believe that people who say they don’t need love in their lives aren’t always speaking
the truth. No love in the world would mean inhumane actions being carried out on
living species. No love in the world would mean that there wouldn’t be people to help
you when you face hardships. No love in the world would mean that new lives would
have to live in a society where people take advantage and use them for materialistic
reasons. Imagine living in a world like that, it would be total chaos within clans of
people and havoc within life itself.

Why exactly is life about peace? I wholeheartedly disagree with the people
that go against world peace. Why would people want to execute something so
loathsome such as wars or even genocides? Countless of sinless lives being claimed
just because they were born in a nation that does not value the lives of their mortals.
Or even worse, being exterminated because they were born a certain race, or believe
in something that they have the privilege to choose about. Some get killed just
because they were born a certain gender. Wars have been around for many, many
centuries. Countless lives have been ended because of wars. Terrorist attacks have
been common in areas all around the globe. Major genocides have been occurring
since World War II. Honor killings have been taking place in rural areas. I have been
holding on to the fact that no innocent person should deserve to die, leaving their
family and friends stripped of their existence. World peace would help solve
everything, no wars, no killings. From my standpoint, the world would be a better
place this way. Without peace, life is miserable.

Life wouldn’t be the same without people. As the social creatures that we are,
it would be impossible to endure life without interacting with other human beings.
There have been many experiments conducted on human beings put in isolation, and
when they come out they nearly lose their minds. Everybody’s opinion on social
interaction is not the same, but I feel that my life would be very miserable without my
family and the people that I treasure most. I personally am an extrovert and I love
meeting new people and making friends. People around me play a big part in my
emotions and the decisions I make. To have all of those wonderful things taken away
from me, I believe that my life wouldn’t be a meaningful one. My life would be
dreadful without other people.

Lastly, I sincerely hope that everyone is living a life full of love, peace and
people. I cherish the fact that I have opportunities that some people may not have
access to.
