Luca Bello (2006) approaches the classical accordion at 7 years old and continues his

studies with professor Mikela Uršič, receiving immediately several awards at


international level. He has participated in over twenty competitions across Italy,
Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Czech Republic and
Portugal, earning eleven first absolute prizes and six first prizes; among the most
important are the first place at the International Accordion Award in Castelfidardo,
the first absolute prize at the International Competition in Pula, the first absolute
prize and the special prize for a concert with the orchestra at the first International
Award in Celje, the first place at the Trophée Mondiale de l’Accordeon 2020 and the
first place at the Internationaler Akkordeonwettbewerb Klinghenthal. He has been
invited to play as a soloist with the orchestra in the musical review “Young Talents”
and in the summer artistic season 2021 both organized by the Teatro Verdi of Trieste,
as well as in the 15th FVG International Music Meeting patronised by the Ensemble
Serenissima and the city of Sacile. He has taken part in many masterclasses with world
renowned classical accordionists including Stefan Hussong, Iñaki Alberdi, Miljan
Bjeletic, Corrado Rojac, Owen Murray, Andreas Nebl and Mirjana Petercol. Alongside
the soloist activity he is a member of the Accordion Orchestra InMusic, with which he
won the first prize at the Accordion Days in Prague in 2019. He has also been invited
as a guest on television and radio broadcasts for interviews and recordings.
