Mumbai Sub : Issue of Medicine by Wellness Forever for MbPT Beneficiaries. Sir, In continuation to our previous letter No. Hosp/COVID-19/ 10366 dated 20.3.2020, this is to inform you that only medicines prescribed for chronic ailments are to be issued for one month to MbPT patients on submission of the previous prescription in the MbPT Case Paper. The prescription on the case paper should be stamped with the date of issue. ‘The undersigned has received few instances that, “Medicines for fever, cough, cold, etc. have also been issued for one month”, these are not to be issued. The chronic ailment medicines issued by the Wellness also can be marked in the duplicate copy of last prescription to avoid duplication of issue of same medicine from MbPT Hospital or any other Wellness Pharmacy. MbPT has started Telemedicine for acute illnesses. ‘The medicine prescription for this will be available on the Telemedicine Whatsapp. A Snapshot of Telemedicine prescription may be taken and medicines can be issued to the MbPT Patients.
