Mindanao is a haven of calm and one of the

Philippines' most beautiful regions. There is

a basic and cheerful way of life there.
Others may argue that Mindanao is
hazardous, but as someone who has lived
here for a decade, I can tell you that they
are incorrect. Mindanao is such a paradise
that I feel like I'm in seventh heaven when
I'm on the beaches of Mindanao; a sense of
eagerness pushes my feet towards the
smooth sands, rough pebbles, and shiny
sea shells. The waves rushed towards me
as if the water was calling out to me,
welcoming me. And I hope that others will
recognize Mindanao's beauty.
