Good morning everyone, today my presentation is about
my favorite festival:
"Cajamarca's Carnival"
For Cajamarcans, carnival is the most important time of
the year, it is celebrated from February 22 to 26, it is
known as the Capital of Peruvian Carnival, since it has a
wide program of presentations, allegories, dances and
music throughout the town. . . . In the carnival festival, my
family participates in many ways. My dad is in charge of
lending his car for the parade, my mother is in charge of
decorating the car with lots of colored balloons and
banners, my cousins are in charge of putting on the music,
me? I'm filling the water balloons and ready to dance in
the parade.
Most of the people go to celebrate with us, to see the
parade, to see the dances and to get wet with the balloons
and paintings. The Carnival Party is full of energy and a
lot of joy.
