Re: PA “Forensic Audit” of 2020 POTUS Election [PART CCXCVI] – *Ukraine Update
{}
In an initial memo [*Ukraine “Study Guide”*], it was posited the Budapest Pact must be
honored by the USA/EU, as Ukraine relinquished nukes in a swap for Western protection;
indeed, this argument undermines alleged Russian fears of nukes positioned by NATO
(were Ukraine to join) on its border. Of course, this crisis is due to Brandon’s errors for,
after killing the XL Pipeline, Brandon is importing Russian oil at record levels and can’t
supply Germany (to supplant Russian imports); it’s too-little-too-late for Brandon to ship
a few defensive arms to Kyiv (needing air/sea support) and to place 6500 troops on-alert
to go to Eastern Europe (after his botched Zelenskyy call). Under-reported is agreement
of Russia and Ukraine to uphold the Donbas Ceasefire in “tough” negotiation that
excluded Brandon/USA. America’s commitment to global freedom is ignored by a critic
[who sidesteps Budapest and claims Trump views Russia as a competitor (not enemy)]:
1. The Orange Revolution was abetted by the West, with black ops
involvement led the U.S., which intervention cast doubt in Russian minds
about the West respecting the territorial borders of Ukraine. In response,
Russia absorbed Crimea as it contained the port at Sebastopol, its principal
access to the Mediterranean; {this rationalizes forcibly taking land}
2. Justification of defending Ukraine from Russian incursion overlooks
the gradual three decades long eastward advance of NATO through
Eastern Europe, and now Southern Europe, as an aggressive affront and
existential threat to Russia; {NATO doesn’t envision invading Russia}
3. The continuation of the anti-Russian election meddling hysteria,
emanating from the Dems during Trump's administration, thoroughly
disproved by Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS); {and?}
4. The historical ties between Ukraine and Russia -- Kiev was the early
capital of Russia; {irrelevant, now that Ukraine is an independent entity}
5. Verbal agreement, during the Reagan Administration, that NATO
would not advance eastward, which failure to honor led Russia, logically,
to distrust U.S. led Western motives and mere verbal agreements. This is
why Russia has requested a written reply to its current red-line proposals.
{such “verbal agreements” aren’t documented and are subject to abuse}
“America ignores a perceived sense of security of putative adversaries, meddling globally.
The U.S. is becoming a has-been country after a much too long ride as hegemon.” [NOT!]
I have felt chronically that the major schism in the GOP is between neo-cons [who
continue to recognize the necessity to fight the Evil Empires] and neo-isolationists [who
take “America First” to the extreme, ignoring the fact that The Donald would emphasize
the need for leaders of all countries to prioritize their interests over globalism]. Thus,
partisan pundits are shuffled, with lefties properly warning that Putin intends to fool the
West while he tries to dismember Ukraine and those immediately in-danger voicing angst
[Latvian Archbishop: If Putin Attacks Ukraine “We Will Be Next”]. It’s irrelevant that
Russian soldiers are allegedly facing brutal conditions on the Ukrainian front, and it’s
equally absurd that Brandon’s Ukraine War Games entails sending 3K Troops to Poland,
Romania and Germany, while keeping 8,500 on standby for NATO (without helping Kiev).
That’s why clueless Brandon has no answer as to how he would stop the Nord Stream 2
Pipeline were Russia to invade Ukraine, and that’s why Jake Sullivan was taken to the
woodshed when queried why Brandon hurts the US while helping Russia on Energy. While
China and Russia issue a conjoint statement urging Brandon to abandon “Cold War
Methodology” and to stop NATO Expansion [projecting their plan to divvy-up the gigantic
Eurasian landmass], it’s necessary for Americans to be reminded that, without NATO,
Russia would already be in Kyiv. BTW, many of pro-Ukrainian pundits/politicians in the
US are using the Russian pronunciation of “Kiev”; I view myself as being among them.
In this environment, I care not about alleged internal corruption, for Ukrainians must
remain free to solve their internal corruption absent Putin’s “help”; I also discount the
claim that U.S. Warmongers Are Pushing China And Russia Into A Dangerous Alliance,
when this [along with Iran, with the Norks in-toe] has been a chronic/under-noted issue.
And that’s why I’m annoyed that in opposing war with Russia, Tucker Carlson champions
the hard-won “truths” of putting American Interests first, as if promoting global freedom
must be abandoned by Reagan’s “shining city on a hill.” Ukraine is the largest country
within Europe, and Putin already was allowed by Obama/Biden to take Crimea.
The Federalist—great on domestic issues—has been leading the isolationist think-tanks,
now illustrated by posing “7 Questions Republicans Need To Be Asking About Brandon’s
Response To Russia” that are predicated on the assumption that sanctions could work
[when Russia’s got expensive oil and will be helped by China if necessary]. Of far greater
moment is a piece that must be read in its entirety [In Russia Crisis, Ukraine Should Be
Prepared To Trade Land For Independence], for it uniquely invokes history to support its
conclusion [much as I disagree with it]. Although composed from Putin’s perspective, it is
basing an outcome on the Minsk Cease-Fire [Ukraine promised to let Luhansk and Donetsk
conduct local elections under a special status law with guarantees of local autonomy and
a general amnesty. In exchange, the separatists agreed to disband their “people’s
republics,” lay down their weapons, and allow the Ukrainian military to regain control of
all Ukrainian territory to the Russian border.] It ignores Budapest, a “tell” of its bias.
So, has ANYONE shuffling to/fro European capitals proposed prompt implementation of
this resolution to the conflict? WHY NOT? It would avoid bloodshed/destruction, eh?
