Hello sir and good day. I am ______ and in this video I will be delivering a speech which is
about Mental Health using ethos, pathos and logos.

One of the most significant problems that we are facing in our everyday lives is our
mental health. According to National Alliance on Mental Illness. (n.d.), 1 out of 5 US adults
experiences mental illness each year. 1 out of 20 people in the US suffers from a severe mental
illness. One out of every six young people in the US, ages 6 to 17, suffers from a mental health
problem. And by the age of 14, 50 percent of all lifetime mental disorder has begun, and 75
percent by the age of 24. Mental health issues are much more widespread than you would expect
due to the fact that people do not usually want to talk about them or are afraid of doing so.

Many things occurred during the pandemic, and maintaining our mental health is, in my
opinion, one of the most difficult things to do. Moreover, I believe that my mental health became
worst or my sanity turns low when the pandemic started. I have experienced or encountered
depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Every midnight I cry myself to sleep just
because of the dark thoughts that my brain made up. I started doubting myself, my decisions, and
my own capability. My trust issues became more evident. All of those things happened when I
stopped doing the things that I love to do.
Mental health is certainly a global issue. Mental illness is a kind of disorder that affects
our feelings, behavior, and thinking. These conditions have a significant effect on our everyday
life, and they can also affect our ability to relate with others. Furthermore, if there are times that
you think you may have a mental health problem, I want you guys to know that you are not
alone. Those who make fun of people who have mental health problems, stop it because you are
just making it worse. Put yourselves in their shoes and have empathy.
