01-040) PACKING (3).
(b) Install the packing (3) and new PIPC -CSN (79-22-01-01-050) PACKING (4) to the collector
valve (6).
(c) Install the collector valve (6) to the lubrication and scavenge pump or oil tube (LR40).
(d) TORQUE the collector valve (6) to between 600 and 625 lbf.in (6.78 and 7.06 m.daN).
(e) Install the chip collector (2) into the collector valve (6) as follows:
1 Apply lubricant, aircraft turbine engine (Material No. P03-001) to a new PIPC -CSN (79-22-
01-01-020) PACKING (1).
2 Install the packing (1) to the chip collector (2).
3 Push the chip collector (2) into the valve (6) and turn clockwise to engage it with the valve
(6).
4 Pull the chip collector (2) away from the valve (6) to make sure that it is fully installed and
cannot disengage.
