Reaction Paper "I Witness "PInoy Frontliners" Dokumentaryo ni Raffy Tima.

Pinoy Frontliners sacrificing a lot, being away from family, sacrificing long hours, and risking to
expose one’s self to a lethal virus. This kind of documentary appreciates the sacrifices of the frontliners.
Volunteer work is no easy feat, especially during a pandemic. Even so, there are still selfless individuals
out there who deserve to be honored for their unrelenting passion for service and hard work, providing
an outpouring of support to medical workers in hospitals and community health centers, in order to
assist the country in its track to recovery. Our heroes are the frontliners the health authorities, military
and police personnel, journalists, food delivery drivers, government employees, bank employees,
janitors, garbage truck collectors, and traffic personnel. They are the people who choose to remain in
the frontlines. For our frontliners, their journey to work and while doing their work feel like being in a
battle with the enemy, only that they do not have superpowers. Our COVID-19 frontliners and the
fictional superheroes we know are both brave and passionate. They may not have superpowers like that
of Superman, but their knowledge, skills, and bravery are what make them heroes.  This is the call of the
frontliners to the public. As the virus continues to be a deadly threat, the fight becomes fiercer.
Thankfully, we see how the spirit of our frontliners never falters.

When fighting the good fight, even the best can be cut down. In this war we wage against the
Covid-19 virus, our public and private health workers are holding the line. And sadly, we have
experienced tragedies. At least five of our frontline doctors have fallen, giving their very lives to keep on
treating people even though they knew they could probably be infected. We salute them, and recognize
their heroic acts, thinking of others before themselves. But we who can must still defend and support
those who continue to risk their lives for their fellow citizens. Many other health-care workers have
fallen ill or are in quarantine, and many of our hospitals now at their respective limits. And yet, if they
can, they will still render aid, will still find a way to make sure a possible Covid patient receives proper
treatment.

To the men and women in health care, we thank you for going well beyond the call of duty. I
also call on the whole nation to support those who hold the line, for in unity, the Filipino will find the
strength to survive.
