Q: Consider the Hasse diagram of poset𝑨 = {𝟏, 𝟐, 𝟑, 𝟒, 𝟔} representing the
divisibility relation.

(a) Write the partial ordering relation on the set 𝑨 from given Hasse diagram in roster
form.

Sol: R = {(1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(1,4),(1,6),(2,4),(2, 6),(3,6),(4,4),(6,6)}

(b) Find all minimal and maximal elements of 𝑨.
Sol: Minimal element of A = 1
Maximal element of A = 4 and 6
(c) Does 𝑨 has a first element or a last element?
Sol: Last element = No last element exist.
First element = 1.
