These types of lights ‘ate not permitted and are not appropriate for the application. As such, PennDOT Is requesting that Newberry Township remove the aforementioned red flashers. | have attached photos submitted to the department by a local resident. Should the Township wish to pursue the installation of the appropriate flashing warning devices, then changes may be proposed to PennDOT Engineering District 8 through the Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) Application Process and/or the regional planning and programming process.
