This research proposal can partially satisfy the objectives as there are certain problems
related to it. The total population of this research is 17000 and the management is making
sample to only 387 people. However the appropriate sample should be 1500 people. This
is a major problem. Second thing what I think is important is the using mail survey. In
mail survey people are not really feel interested to complete survey. They could just
ignore the mail because they are not getting any incentive for it. So, here majority of the
mail may not be posted. People can also just fill it up without properly reading the survey
as it is not happening in face to face environment. Another thing is the respondents may
not write in details about what they want or how the service can benefit them or the
company.
The research population size is 17000. From which they will be conducting a research
sample size of 387 people. The company will be randomly select this prospective
respondents. I think this is the right thing to do as the research is about evaluating the
decision making process of the cardholders. By doing so they can understand what need
to do next for better customer support or make better relation with their customer.
