Unit 11 ‫الصحة والنظافة العامة‬

 MRSA= (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus , a bacterium with


antibiotic resistance.)‫إسم بكتريا ذات مقاومه ضد المضادات الحيوية‬
It affects the skin.
It is called the flesh –eating superbug. ‫الحشرة أكلة اللحم‬
Its symptoms are nasty and include infection under the skin usually on the arms
or legs.
 An antimicrobial‫ مضادات الميكربات‬agent will kill microorganism‫ الجراثيم الدقيقة‬.
 Our bodies have ways to kill pathogens such as viruses and bacteria.
 There is a risk of contamination ‫ خطر التلوث‬from urine and blood.
 Wash floors and door handles with disinfectant ‫ بمطهر‬.
 A home doesn't have d to be spotless‫ نظيف‬but it has to be clean
 Children who live in spotless clean ‫ نظيفة‬houses ‫ازل‬++‫ من‬don't have enough
exposure ‫ تعرض كافي‬to bacteria so‫ لذا‬their immune system‫ فجهاز المناعة‬don't get
‫ ليس لديه‬the practice ‫ التدريب‬of fighting bacteria‫لمحاربة البكتريا‬
 Antibiotic kill the weak bacteria‫ البكتريا الضعيفه فقط‬but allow the strong ones to
survive and get stronger‫ لكنها تسمح للبكتريا القوية بأن تحيى وتقوى‬.
 In hospitals We can catch MRSA ‫ يمكن اإلصابة بفيروس عن طريق‬from poor
hospital Hygiene.
 Bacteria is there around us in many things like ( bad smells – wine
making – Yoghurt ….etc) but does it have to to with common colds, flu
and Aids ? Of course not ‫ لكنها ليس لها أي عالقة بنزالت البرد واألنفلونزا وإليدز‬.
 The hospital staff should take some hygienic precautions‫دابير وقائية‬+‫ت‬
for protecting themselves against MRSA and other bacterium; They
should wash their hands between patients.
 They should wash their hands in hot water for about 15 minutes.

like for example Staphylococcus. ‫يوجد بعض البكتريا والجرثومات مقاومة لمعظم المضادات‬
‫ تلك المسماة ستافلوكوكس‬+‫الحيوية ومثال لهذه البكتريا‬

The floors and handles of the doors in hospitals should be washed with
disinfectant ‫ للجرثومات‬+‫يجب أن تغسل أرضيات المستشفى ومقابض أبوابها بمبيد ومطهر‬

Homes don't need to be spotless ‫ ننقي من الجراثيم‬but it is necessary to keep them


clean.

VRSA means Vancomycin resistant. It is called " The flesh eating superbug ‫تسمى‬
‫البقه أو الحشره أكلة اللحم‬.
MRSA has some infection that related to the skin such as abscesses, boils, septic
wounds, redness, tenderness, swelling, and
