Subject : APC Sanitation Activities and CHEd Directives

APC's Building Maintenance Office, together with the Campus Architect, would like to update the community of the
Sanitation Cycle and measures that they are currently undertaking to ensure stakeholder’s campus health and safety.

The following are the activities that the team is conducting:

1. Wall scrubbing – all walls are washed with powdered soap and rinsed with normal water to be finished with
spraying/wiping of diluted Lysol disinfectant.
2. Floor Mopping – Floors are washed with powdered soap and rinsed with normal water to be finished with
spraying/wiping of diluted Lysol Disinfectant.

3. Contact Area Wiping – Common contact areas are wiped with diluted Lysol Disinfectant.
(Doorknobs, Elevator Buttons, Chairs, Desks and Tables)

4. Wiping of Equipment – Laboratory and Classroom equipment are manually wiped with diluted
Lysol Disinfectant. (Whiteboards, Computers, Mices, Keyboards and Projectors)
5. Airing of Wiped Areas – Areas that was previously sanitized shall be aired by opening of windows and letting
ambient air though.

In response to government directives, these measures will be done during this period of class suspensions, and shall
be observed even to the resumption of classes. Alumni and students who wish to transact to any of the offices or
consult with the faculty are encouraged to use online and communication channels (eg. MS Teams, Moodle, e-mail,
phone) should they have anything to consult with.
