Employee Turnover

Employee turnover means when employees leave the organization during a specific time
period. This includes any employee leaving, including resignations, layoffs, retirements,
relocations, or even deaths.

There are some factors due to which employees leave the organization. Some of the
factors are given below:
1) Working environment: If the working environment is not good or not according to the
employees then employees leave the organization. For example, there is a lot of noise,
not enough light, and chairs are not comfortable etc.

2) No benefits: If they are not getting enough benefits or the benefits are not according
to them then they won't continue their job because benefits and compensation is the
major reason.

3) Feeling undervalued: If a manager doesn't value his employees then there will be a
time when employees will leave because recognition, encouragement or positive
comments play an important role in an employee’s life. If employees are being
recognized and given importance then they will become permanent assets of your
organization.
4) Overwork: Giving a lot of work or assignments is the negative point and employees
sson leave the company because when they face daily stress then it becomes
unmanageable. So, it is important to take care of the employees.

5) Bad manager: Most of the employees also leave the job because of a bad or rude
manager. When a manager takes the ideas of others or does favouritism then at the
workplace it becomes a bad condition due to which employees leave their job.

So, these are some factors due to which there is a high turnover rate. If a company or
manager takes care of the employees there can be less chances for them to leave.
