Patient M

45 y/o

Male

History: he has history of Pheochromocytoma seen on his brain more than 20 years ago

Prior to admission: The patient arrived at the ER, and you cannot understand well what he is saying,
and the relative with him tells that it only started last night

ER: His weight is 60kgs with vital signs taken as follows: BP=150/100mmHg; PR=121bpm; RR=21cpm;
Temp=37.4ᵒC; and SPO2 of 94%.

 MEDICAL - CASE 2

Patient W

61 yrs old

Female

History: Long-time suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for 6 years

Prior admission: Decrease in her appetite and complaints of epigastric pain

ER: The patient GCS was (E3V4M5) looks pale, weak and very thin weighing 44kgs. Vital signs as follows:
BP=80/50mmHg; HR=106bpm; RR=24cpm; and temp=35.4ᵒ C with SPO2 of 93%.

 SURGERY- CASE 1

Patient X

25 yrs old

Male

History: Smoker and A heavy drinker for 5 years.

Prior to admission: Patient is drunk, and stabbed with a 7in knife on the mid axillary line at 9-10th
intercostal space, and left upper quadrant.

ER: Upon admission pt appeared:

-Restless and uneasy

- Intoxicated

- shirt is soaked with blood

- GCS 14- uncooperative and does not obey commands


-V/S- (BP 140/80)(PR 90)(RR 26)(O2 sat 95%)(Temp 37.2C)
