Template-based copying means that you can define which maintenance

plans you can copy.
You can copy every maintenance plan if this option is checked.
Or you can mark certain maintenance plan as "Allow as Copy Template"

Order
Different UI and data will be displayed for different maintenance plan category
Maintenance Plan Item -

Mandatory Field (I)
One and only one entry shall to be maintained for Technical Object or Product in
each maintenance item

Mandatory Fields (II)
Different service contract ID and items can be assigned to different

maintenance plan items
Item description, Service contact ID/Item, Service Order template and

service order type are mandatory in each item

Selection Screen for Service
Contract
The selected technical object/product will be set as default filter. So service

contracts with this object maintained in its object list will be filtered out first.
If multiple objects are selected in the filter, the service contract item
containing all these objects will be listed out.
Maintenance Plan Item - Value

Help for Service Order Template
(I)
The selected technical object or product will be set as default filter in service
order template selection screen. So service order template using this object as its
reference object will be filtered out first.

Enhanced function for Service order template search
If a piece of equipment has been entered in a maintenance item, and there is

no service order template referencing this equipment directly, then another
around of search will be triggered automatically
Service order templates whose reference product ID equals to the product ID

Period
Scheduling Period can be used to determine the length of time for which
system creates maintenance calls during maintenance plan scheduling.
If scheduling period is not entered, the system ensures that at least 1 waiting
release exists.

Counter Management
Counter is one type of measurement point which is assigned to a technical object

(only for Equipment )

Counter is one type of measurement point which is assigned to a technical object
The counter based maintenance plan is very similar to time based maintenance
plan. Because the counter will be converted to time to use for scheduling
calculation.
Example: the counter is a distance counter with unit as KM. The annual estimate
is 3650 KM, means that the counter is expected to be consumed 3650 KM per
year, also means that the counter is expected to be consumed 10 KM per day
(3650 KM/365 DAY).
Counter Reading
Counter reading can be set via measurement documents
Measurement document is created based on technical object
Planning Data - Multiple Counter

Define Cycle Set Sequence + Repeat Factor

Specify Cycle Set Sequence in each maintenance item

(III)
After scheduling, the scheduled calls list will be displayed in Maintenance

Calls tab.
Based on Cycle Set Sequence, which maintenance item is called can be

distinguished.
Planning Data - Completion

Required
Completion required - If checked, the next call will be on hold until service orders
in the previous call are all completed

Manual Set Completion Date
Completion Date can be set manually directly in Schedule Maintenance Plan,

corresponding service order status will not be impacted.
This operation will remove the block to release the next call.

If the confirmation of previous service was delayed or early , the percentage to

shift the next call.
Tolerance (+/-)
The next service be executed as planned, when the first service is late or early
within the tolerance.

Service Contract used in Maintenance Plan shall be 'Released' with no error.

Or an error message shall be thrown.
Sold-to party of service contracts used in one maintenance plan can be

different. There is no technical restrictions.

When generate a service order from a maintenance plan scheduling
The service contract status, and end date will be validated and the service
order won't be generated in case of any errors.
If the previous service order has not been completed successfully, the next
service order generation will be blocked based on customer selection.
