Activity - I Can Do This!

If you were to advise the President of the Philippines on how to address the issues on COVID 19,
poverty and unemployment to improve the lives of the Filipino people, what would you tell him and
why?

I would tell him to be more hands on with these problems that many of Filipinos is facing right now
and then. When pandemic started the Filipinos experience a lot every now and then, there is
poverty, unemployment, and fighting the Covid 19. I would tell him to stop declaring lockdowns
because Filipinos cannot handle it anymore, they were losing a job and businesses. People who
suffering on their lives should be the priorities like the senior citizens who has disabilities, the
children and the families living on the streets and can’t afford to rent houses, and the other Filipinos
who needs help should be the one who prioritizing.
