GRACE
Read Proverbs 29:18

“Without a vision the people lose restraint; but happy is the one who follows
instruction.”

When we climb a mountain, our goal is to reach the top. At the summit, one can see
the beauty and majesty of the whole landscape. Throughout the ages, God reveals
to the people His clear vision and plans on top of a mountain. He gave the 10
Commandments to Moses on Mt. Sinai; Abraham’s faith was tested on a high peak
of the land of Moriah; and the transfiguration also happened on Mt. Tabor. Indeed, a
mountaintop experience is where God reveals His vision to His chosen servants. It
is where faith and clarity meet. On a personal level, how can we have a mountain-
peak vision?

1. Go up to the mountain – to pray and reflect

In the state of grace, go to your inner room, where there is no distraction. Pray to the
father and ask for the Holy Spirit to give you a vision. Take this time to be in
communion with God in silence and allow Him to give you instructions.

2. Stay in the mountain – to process and asses

Process and asses your situation and allow God to meet you there. Reflect on the
questions “Where am I going? What should I do to reach this vision?” Allow God to
purify you in this process. It will be helpful if you write this in your journal.

3. Go down the mountain – to prepare and claim

Completely offer and align your vision to God. Make a decision and write down
concrete actions that you will take in order to claim your vision. Face your
challenges and achieve your vision with Christ.

Vision helps us to see the invisible plan of God. In our eyes it is hidden, but in the
eyes of God it is a reality that is bound to happen in His perfect time. God
challenges us to make concrete actions on how to attain our vision. As Thomas A.
Edison says, “A vision without execution is delusion.”
