INTRODUCTION

The Hill has not finished revealing its secrets.

Here at the Tavern stories are being told
about a treasure guarded by a Dragon.
The news quickly circulated in the world of DIG
and new Companions as well as a new kind of Recruits,
the Specialists, are now ready to rent their service for part of the loot.
The adventure awaits you, will you manage to seize the treasures
and escape the tempestuous Dragon?

COMPONENTS

25 DRAGON’S TREASURE CARDS

8x Diamond, 6x Ruby, 3x Dragon, 2x Sword,
2x Gold Bag, 2x Ring, 1x Spell Book, 1x Gem

6 DRAGON’S LAIR ENTRANCE CARDS

2 COMPANION CARDS

4 SPECIALISTS
(wooden pawns)
GAME SETUP

Prepare the game as describe in the base game

with the following exceptions:

Sort the Dragon’s Treasure cards from the

Dragon’s Lair Entrance cards and the Companion cards.

Add the Companion cards to those in the base game and shuffle them.
Reveal 6 Companion cards as usual.

Place the Specialists next to the Recruits at the Tavern.

Add the Dragon’s Lair Entrance cards

to the Hill cards of the base game and shuffle them.

Finally, shuffle all the Dragon’s Treasure cards

and place this deck of cards near the Tavern.
RULES OF PLAY

Use the same rules as in the base game, with the following exceptions.

The Hill contains a new type of card, the Dragon’s Lair Entrance card.

Whenever you reveal a Dragon’s Lair Entrance Card,

discard it and choose if you want to enter the Lair or not.

If you do not, reveal a new card from the Hill

and continue with your turn, as usual.

If you do, you start to reveal cards from the Dragon’s Treasure deck.

Dragon’s Lair Entrance

Dragon’s Treasure
You can reveal as many cards as you want, one at a time.
You can choose to stop after every revealed card,
even the first, or continue to push your luck.

But beware,
if you wake the Dragon (i.e. reveal a Dragon card),
discard all the cards revealed so far.

When you decide to leave the Dragon’s Lair

(i.e. to stop revealing cards), add the revealed cards to your Treasure.
You can use them similar to the Precious Stone or Equipment cards
from the base game, but remember to discard them separately
from the base game cards (Hill cards).

When the Dragon’s Treasure card deck is empty,

you do not shuffle the discarded cards to create a new pile.
The Treasure was definitely looted.
SPECIALISTS

Specialists can be hired at the Tavern in exchange for 8 Crystals.

Specialists operate according to the same rules as Recruits

with some exceptions:

- A Specialist works alone.

You can not add a Specialist in a Gallery where a Recruit is placed,
nor add a Recruit in a Gallery where a Specialist is placed.

- You can not hire or own more than one Specialist at a time.

- When a Specialist’s Gallery is closed,

return the Specialist to the Tavern.
The Specialists know the Hill very well.
Place 2 Gems on the fifth card from the card (and including it)
where a Specialist is placed, instead of one.

END OF THE GAME

The end of the game is triggered in the same way as in the base game.

However, with so many riches in play,

we invite you to increase the number of Gems
necessary to trigger the end of the game
and to switch from 5 to 10 Gems for example.
THE CARDS

DRAGON’S LAIR ENTRANCE

This card gives you immediate access to the Dragon’s
Treasure deck.

SPELL BOOK
A collection of powerful protective spells.
The SPELLBOOK allows you to counter a COLLAPSE
card. Discard it after use.

SWORD
The SWORD allows you to defeat (i.e. discard) an
ENEMY you have just revealed, INSIDE or OUTSIDE
your Galleries. If you do, discard it and add a Gem to
your Treasure.
ROYAL RING
Alone, this ring is worthless. If you manage to find
both ROYAL RINGS, discard them and add 2 Gems to
your Treasure.

GEM
Discard this card from your Treasure to receive a Gem.

DIAMOND, RUBY, AND GOLD BAG

These cards are identical to those of the base game.
Their effects and use are subject to the same rules.
NEW COMPANIONS

THE DWARF KING

Formerly King of the Hill, the Dwarf King has repeatedly
fought the creatures it contains.
The DWARF KING immunizes you against the ORC and
WEREWOLF. If you reveal one of these cards, discard it
and reveal a new one.

THE RAT KING

This little discreet King has reached this rank thanks to
his commercial skills.
The RAT KING allows you to double the effect of any
GOLD BAG. Thus, you can hire 2 Recruits with 1 GOLD
BAG.
