WHAT IS LAND LAW?
Land law, as the name suggests, is the set of rules that govern the
land and anything attached to it, such as trees or buildings, or anything
in it, e.g. treasure or oil. People who work in this area of law have the
task of fighting or defending disputes over land matters, such as rights
of way and boundary issues.

ISSUE OF LAND
LAW
Karambit purchased a piece of land from Katipang. He then registered
the land under his name. Mumbala claimed that he was the true owner
of that land and that Katipang had forged his signature in the
instrument of transfer of the land to Karambit. After a long battle in
court, the court decided that Karambit is a bona- fide purchaser.
Forgery was proved in the case. Based on the fact, state your opinion
relating to the ownership of the land?

Mariani offers to sell her land to Jusuh who wants to buy the land. He
wants to inspect the document of title that she has with her. Mariani
said that, "based on the Mirror principle of Torrens system, you may
make your decision whether to buy my land or not". Jusuh was still
confused. He asks you about the Mirror Principle.
Explain to Jusuh about the Mirror Principleunder the Malaysianland
law.
