REFLECTION

According to an article titled "What Are the Symptoms of Antepartum Depression

and How Is It Treated?" that I discovered online. Pregnancy can be an exciting time, but
it can also bring a lot of stress and anxiety, as well as a roller coaster of hormones,
according to one study. All of these factors can contribute to or exacerbate depression.
And determining the cause can be difficult. Antepartum depression might be hidden by
pregnancy symptoms.

As a person, after reading this article, I realized that being pregnant is not only
difficult, but also a challenge for all pregnant women, especially because they are
responsible for not only their own health, but also the health of their unborn children, as
they are the ones carrying them inside their wombs. As a male, I've learned that in order
to have a healthy child, you must always be cautious and careful with your wife in
whatever you do together.

As a student nurse, this article can serve as a guide on how to deal with pregnant
women who are concerned about their baby's delivery, especially since some cases
may have challenges that necessitate more care so as not to injure both the mother and
the baby.

As a future health care practitioner, I recognized that antepartum treatment shouldn't

be limited to common conditions; it's also necessary to understand about the risks and
issues that any pregnant woman may face, as these can jeopardize the pregnancy.

To summarize, I believe that we students aren't the only ones who should be reading
these types of articles, but also the general public, because everyone has a mother,
sister, wife, or other family member who may experience an unwanted situation during
their pregnancy journey, as well as women who are concerned about their health, so
that everyone will learn how to stay calm and in control when dealing with pregnant and
assailant women.
