ANTIMICROBIAL WATER ADDITIVE

Tsunami 100
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Tsunami 100 is a peroxyacetic acid antimicrobial water additive used to control of
bacterial growth in the wash water for fruits and vegetables, prior to applying to
food processing in food processing industry.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE For Fruit and Vegetable Surfaces and Processing Water
1. Rinse all surfaces of fruits and vegetables thoroughly with water to eliminate the
heavy soil.
2. Mix Tsunami 100 with water to produce about 30-80 ppm of peroxyacetic acid in
used solution. This can be accomplished by initially adding 1 part of Tsunami 100
with 2,000 parts of water (concentration at 20-50 ml of Tsunami 100 per 100 liters
of water or 0.02-0.05% v/v).
3. The fruits and vegetables can be soaked in the solution for a minimum contact
time of 45 seconds then drain adequately
4. Rinse with clean water again.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE For Seed Production
1. Rinse all surfaces thoroughly with water to eliminate any soiling.
2. Mix 1-1.2% w/v Tsunami 100 (10-12 gram of Tsunami 100 per 1 liter of water) /
1-1.2% v/v Tsunami 100 (10-12 ml of Tsunami 100 per 1 liter of water).
3. The fruits and vegetables can be dipped in the solution for a minimum contact
time of 90 seconds.
4. Drain and rinse with clean potable water.

Consult your Ecolab Representative for specific use instructions and recommended
dispensing equipment.
