REPORT ON TWO DAY STUDENT SEMINAR

In a span of 5 years, seminars were conducted for the students; seminars are
conducted to build interest in the specific area and also to get a wider scope on the
particular subject. In regard to this we have conducted two day student seminar on
30th Dec & 31st Dec 2020-21 about “emerging trends in trade and commerce”.

Over the many years, topics on Trade and E-Commerce, Marketing and Strategy,
Economic, recent trends in Human Resource Management, Online and Trading,
and Banking and Insurance. An Overview was the topics on which students
actively participated and presented power point presentations.

The main objectives of this seminar are as follows:

 To build the knowledge about Trade and Commerce


 To identify the feasibility of Trade
 To create an awareness about new implications on Trade and Commerce
 To expand the business globally
 To identify the digital trend in Trade and Commerce

There were over 87 participants from final year, second year, and first year Bcom
students, who had presented their topics and shared their inputs to the audience.
From this seminar we founded the subject knowledge and hard work of students
also we come to know that students had a great experience.
There are two judges, Ms. Babitha Naik an assistant professor and Ms. Angel Jaya
Kirubha an assistant professor of commerce department. They judge upon the
criteria’s such as presentation skill, communication skill, body language, subject
knowledge, and reasoning skill. The marks were allocated ten on each criterion.
The seminar was been held at D block.
The final outcome of this seminar is that, we get to know about the trends on trade
and commerce. We also observed the development on commerce fields.

Finally, the seminar ended on positive note.
