Pursuant to existing guidelines on Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Elections, all public schools of this Division are reminded to revisit DepEd Orders No. 54 & 77, s, 2009 and 83, s. 2010. 2. All concemed are directed to abide to the provisions of the abovementioned DepEd Orders and strictly observe the following measures in consideration of the COVID-19 public health crisis: a. The election can be done online or face-to-face whichever is agreed to by the teachers and parents that will not compromise the health and safety of everyone. b. Should there be face-to-face meetings, School Heads shall ensure that public health and safety measures are implemented, such as the observance of proper physical distancing, wearing of face masks and face shields and the provision of aleohoV/disinfectant, and adhere to Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) protocols on the number of congregated individuals. 3. Relative to this, the election of Board of Directors and Officers of the Imus City Parents- ‘Teachers Association Federation (ICPTAF) for SY 2020-2021 from among the GPTA presidents of the 35 public schools shall be held on February 19, 2021, Friday, 8:00AM, at the SDO Conference Hall, 3" floor, Old Building, Toclong 1-C, City of Imus, subject to IATF health and safety protocols. 4. For purposes of transparency and accountability, incumbent ICPTAF officers are requested to report their accomplishment and financial statement as a preliminary activity before the election proper. 5. School heads are advised to refer to aforementioned DepEd Orders for clarity on frequently asked questions (FAQs) such as qualifications, terms of office, and proper conduct of elections. 6.
