Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workbook has been

designed to help you keep a reflective account of your learning from
each of the FIT UK / TREND-UK Diabetes Professional Care Conference
sessions you attended.
As part of the revalidation process you are asked by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to
record “five written reflective accounts on your CPD and/or practice-related feedback and /or an
event or experience in your practice and how this relates to the Code.” The pages in this workbook
are set out in the style of the NMC Reflective Account Form. The form is required to be used when
you renew your
registration. We hope that the layout of this workbook will make it easy for you to transfer the
information to the NMC forms when you renew your registration.

The FIT UK/TREND-UK sessions have been designed to be educational, thought provoking and
relevant to your practice. We hope that you will find the sessions useful and aligned with the NMC
Code themes:

Prioritise people Practice effectively Preserve safety Promote professionalism

and trust.
