Event, Moment, Death – H. I cannot only never experience a death, but I can never experience a
moment without retrospection. Events so defined, then, are non-existent vis-à-vis experience
because experience requires a sense of succession to be rendered intelligibly. Perhaps it is the
case that experience should not be so defined because to do so sets events outside of cognition,
establishing repetitively the position of a Ding an sich.
