Summary of Strengths and Areas of Possible Growth
Overall I think that a lot of my strengths are with advoca,ng for students, communica,ng with parents and collabora,ng with
my team. We oOen work together to find ways to improve our teaching and meet the needs of our students. We know that if
we work as a team we can all use our strengths to help support each other. I also work very closely with my parents to build
rapport and learn more about my students. I think this has a huge impact on my teaching and really helps my student to be
successful. I think that rela, onships help student learning a lot. I think that a big area of improvement is to research more and
really have more confidence to facilitate more things on my own. I think as a newer teacher it is some, mes hard to feel like
there is something that you can bring to the table. I want to make sure that this year I do this more and not just with my team
like I am currently doing but to do it more as a school wide thing with teachers in other grade levels as well. I also want to
make sure to learn more about my colleagues especially in the upper grades and how I can help them. I think it is easy to just
communicate with primary because of how school is separated but I want to make more of a point to meet with upper grade
as well. There is always more to learn and I am always l looking for ways to improve myself as a teacher. I want to do my best
so My student can be successful and love learning.
