Fellowship with God through Worship

God wants to fellowship with His children, to be involved in their affair and fight their battles. In
that way, His kingdom will come, and it will be done on earth as it is in heaven. But the means to
achieve this is praise and worship.

As we praise God, He manifests His presence. A revelation of His presence and His character
leads us to worship Him. The Bible is full of people who worshiped God after encountering Him.
When Moses encountered God in the burning bush he worshiped. When John encountered
Jesus Christ when he was writing the book of Revelation, his initial response was worship. True
worship is a natural our response to the revelation of his personality. Therefore, it cannot
be taught but it can only be caught.

When God shows up, He wants us to have an intimate conversation with Him. It is in worship, in
the Holy of holies where we can have such deep, heart to heart conversations. That is what
Moses would do with God when the cloud of glory showed up.

Exodus 33:10-11 When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the
tent, they would stand up and worship, each one at the entrance to his own tent. Thus the
LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.

Worship moments are deep moments of face to face conversations with God, and that is where
deep transformation of soul takes place. We begin to be transformed into his very nature while
putting off the old nature. Glory to God!
