Honourable chairs and fellow delegates:

Each nation is entitled to its sovereignty and integrity after 1945

the UN was formed to help promote this and safeguard every nations
independence and protect nations from aggression.Article 2 of the
Charter of the United Nations (1945) which states that “All Members
shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or
use of force against the territorial integrity or political
independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with
the Purposes of the United Nations”

The delegation of the comoros see that the republic of Turkey has
constantly violated this article and infringed on Arab nations’
sovereignty and dignity, the delegation of the comoros stands firm
against any acts of occupation and deliberate instability in the
region. For over 10 years the Syrian people have suffered
tremendously due to the internal conflict which is further fueled by
the actions of the republic of Turkey.
