CFD Analysis of Dampener

Objective: To estimate the flow induced forces coming on to dampener blades at various opening
conditions of Valve. At fully opening condition the valve will be operated by 45°.

Based on the geometry to estimate the force characteristics on the dampener, we have to estimate the
conditions at 5,10, 15,25, 45 degrees.
Assumptions: The dampener will be operated at a constant or designed flow

CFD Output: The forces coming on to the blade due to the flo
floww Pressure, velocity, turbulence at
different operating conditions.
The above output will be useful in design of Actuator and its linkages.
