TOPIC 1: COMPARISONS

Laura and Camila

They are my friends from the gym Laura and Camila. Laura is 25 years old. Camila
is 22 years old, she is younger than Laura. Camila measures 1.62, she is tall; Laura is
shorter and a little prettier than Camila. Camila's hair is more frizzy and silky. Laura has
straight and darker hair. Laura and Camila like to train but Camila is more disciplined than
Laura. They are excellent friends.

TOPIC 2: ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS

Weekend Vacation

We are going on vacation this weekend; we have everything prepared! My father

will take the dog in his car while I will take care of contacting Uncle Ramon and calling
him. Samuel prepares suitcases and organizes them in the trunk of the car while my mother
packs some food. It looks like it's going to be a spectacular weekend.

TOPIC 3: TALKING ABOUT ROUTINES

Routines Jose

Every Wednesday. Jose gets up at 6 in the morning. then he changes to go to

training, arriving he takes a shower, goes down to his kitchen. He eats breakfast and goes to
work by bus. He works there 8 hours. At night he shares with his friends, checks the day's
earrings, connects to his two-hour classes and goes to bed.

TOPIC 4: TALKING ABOUT A TOWN

 Cartagena

Cartagena is a city in Colombia. It is a beautiful colonial city. The central square is

full of stories of what happened previously, there are nice restaurants and the houses are
very colorful. There are statues of people who marked a before and after in Colombia such
as the statue of Joe Arroyo, singer and also Diomedes Diaz. Cartagena has a very beautiful
culture as well as its beaches.
