RMLNLU Students bagged the prestigious UN Millennium Fellowship
The team comprising Deeksha Sharma (2022), Tirtharaj Choudhury (2022),
Priyanka Preet (2022), Shreyasi Singh (2024), Muskan Pamnani (2024), Abhyuday Jaiswal (2024), Utkarsh Srivastava (2024), Animekh Pandey (2024), Harshita Sharma (2024), Vrinda Basu (2025) and Debjyoti Samaddar (2025) has secured the prestigious United Nations Millennium Fellowship. Dr RMLNLU Campus has been selected for the Fellowship amongst 2,200 campuses across 153+ nations with over 25,000 applicants. Only 120 campuses have been selected worldwide (just 6%) and RMLNLU Lucknow one of them.
United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellowship is an endeavour
that commences from August and ends in November every year. The Fellowship requires the students to launch a campus project for any of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The RMLNLU project is titled as "Sustainability and Human Rights:
Looking Beyond Environmental and Climate Change Laws". The goal of the project is to organize 3 symposia from August to October on the sub- themes of sustainability and environmental law, sustainability and trade and commerce and sustainability and human rights. The students will also launch a course lasting 3-4 days globally for students to master sustainability and climate change action.
The graduation ceremony will take place virtually in New York on 17th November 2021.
