In pursuance of circular No. 60/DDMA/COVID-19/463


dated/DTTE/2021/216-22 Dated 30/08/2021 issued by Delhi Disaster
Management Authority, GNCTD, regarding re-opening of the University for
Academic Activities. The University is re-opening for Academic Activities w.e.f.
20.09.2021. The Academic Schedule is given as under.
Further, all Academic activities of the University are subject to
notifications issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi from time to time.

3. GUIDELINES FOR QUESTION PAPER PREPARATION AND


CONDUCT OF ASSESSMENTS
i. NSUT/ UNIVERSITY OF DELHI SCHEME OF ASSESMENT SHALL BE
APPLICABLE.
ii. If required the class tests can be held jointly for all sections in the
computer centre.
iii. Class tests for all sections may preferably be held during a common time slot.
iv. All the tests must be evaluated and Entry of all marks shall be made in Google
Class/Online assessment tool/CUMS. Faculty are required to display the
marks of the test, to students, within one week of the test.
v. In case of online (OFF CAMPUS, IF ANY) tests, students shall be asked to put
ON their audio as well as video on Google Meet during the test being conducted
using Google Forms/Any other assessment tool.
vi. EXAMS SHALL BE HELD IN PEN AND PAPER MODE. STUDENTS ARE
ADVISED TO BE READY FOR THE NORMAL MODE OF EXAMINATION. IN
CASE THE COVID-19 SITUTUATION DETERIORATES, AN ALTERNATE
SCHEDULE SHALL BE RELEASED.
4. GUIDELINES FOR ON-CAMPUS
TEACHING/EXAMINATONS
i. The classes would run in offline-online i.e blended mode for all semesters.
ii. Big class rooms of size approximately double the class size shall be used for
conducting classes.
iii. 50 % of the students of III/V/VII shall attend classes on campus. 2 days for
group-1 and 2 days for group-2.
iv. The Groups shall be created by dividing the Departments into 2 groups.

v. The MSE/ESE shall be staggered so that COVID appropriate seating


arrangements can be made for the on-campus Exams.
vi. The computer centre/Department computer Labs maybe used for
conducting class tests/MSE.
vii. FINAL YEAR UG/PG.
a. The classes would run in offline-online i.e. blended mode from 20th
September 2021.
b. All EO theory classes shall be run in on-line mode only. Practical shall be
held on one day. The timetable of the same shall be prepared jointly by all
EO offering Departments in consultation with the degree offering
departments.
c. The current timetable is to be followed for theory classes.
d. A separate weekly practical class schedule shall be prepared by the
DTCRC. Preferably it should have minimum clash with the theory
classes. Practical classes shall be arranged separately (after MSE/
before ESE) for outside Delhi students who could not attend regular
lab classes. Laboratory class attendance is mandatory.
viii. III/V sem B.Tech/UG
a. The classes would run in offline-online i.e blended mode as per dates
decided by the University.
b. Initially, only theory classes would be conducted as per the existing
timetable.
c. This shall be followed by 2 weeks of only practical classes. A batch of
students shall attend only lab classes of all subjects on a particular day.
There shall be no theory classes on this day for the batch attending
practical classes. Practical timetable should be designed such that a
student is able to complete 4 practical exercises per week.
d. In the practical classes week, lectures of courses with lab components may
be suspended (if required) and teachers may take extra classes later.
Lectures and tutorials of courses with tutorial components should be held.
If required (clash with practical classes) faculty may re-schedule their
classes
e. A separate practical class schedule shall be prepared by the DTCRC as per
above guidelines.
